Description

This hand-painted image depicts an abstract version of the Eureka Tower in Melbourne. The modern skyscraper on Southbank Promenade was designed by acclaimed architectural firm Fender Katsalidis and completed in 2006. Michael Eckhardt abstracted the surfaces with bold colors and makes the different parts of the skyscraper’s building glow. This painting was done with high quality acrylic paints on paper.
